Andrew Firth started in antiques at the age of seventeen and has trained with some of the most renowned auction houses in the UK, including Spencers of Retford. He went on to become one of Britain’s youngest auctioneers at just eighteen, valuing all aspects of the world of antiques and fine art.

In 1986 Andrew formed his own business with services including providing valuations for probate, family divisions and insurance purposes, the buying and selling of fine art and antiques, advising on and furnishing entire contents for prestigious houses. Based in the North West of England Andrew regularly visits all major auctions that are held both in the UK and abroad, acting for clients he searches for fine quality items and works closely with interior designers in the blending of pieces into an overall theme.

His enthusiasm, knowledge and passion for his work has led Andrew to numerous appearances on the BBC’s Going for a Song and The Antiques Roadshow, as well as guest appearances on Pebble Mill and GMTV.

Should a client wish to purchase even a small number of antiques Andrew is happy to be of assistance and can discuss any requirements in the comfort of their own home. Alternatively if a client wishes to sell any items he will arrange to buy quality pieces at the best possible prices.
